1.1 Information you provide

• Contact details — name, phone number, email address, business name and address, submitted when you or your business sign up for or use Nisshchay.
• Booking & appointment data — services booked, appointment dates/times, notes, preferences and history.
• WhatsApp messages — the content of messages you exchange with a business's WhatsApp number for the purpose of booking, rescheduling, confirming or receiving reminders about appointments.
• Payment information — when a payment is made through a Nisshchay-generated payment link, our payment partner Razorpay processes your card, UPI or bank details directly. Nisshchay does not receive, store or have access to full card numbers, bank account numbers or UPI credentials — we only receive confirmation of payment status and amount.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Device and usage information (browser type, IP address, pages visited) when you use our website.
• Delivery and read-status metadata for messages sent via the WhatsApp Business Platform.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate and maintain appointment booking, scheduling, reminders and the digital ledger.
• To send appointment confirmations, reminders and no-show prevention notices via WhatsApp, SMS or email.
• To process payments and maintain accurate transaction and appointment records for your business.
• To respond to routine booking questions using automated tools, including AI-assisted message handling.
• To maintain the security, integrity and reliability of the Service, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate Nisshchay, and only to the extent required:

Each of these providers is contractually bound to use information only to provide their service to us, and not for their own independent purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

4. Data Retention

We retain appointment, ledger and account information for as long as your business account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting, legal and dispute-resolution obligations. WhatsApp message content related to bookings is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Service and is not used for advertising purposes.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege infrastructure permissions — to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location (including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the UK GDPR, and applicable US state privacy laws), you may have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Withdraw consent to further WhatsApp communications at any time by replying "STOP" or contacting us directly

7. International Data Transfers

Nisshchay operates across India, the United Kingdom and the United States. Information may be processed or stored in countries other than where you are located, including on infrastructure operated by our service providers. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for use by business owners and their adult customers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
